That I need to update my blog. Since the person that told me is one of the people I love the most in the whole world, I guess I better.
Since March, a lot has happened. My husband lost his job and we are now living with his parents. That is the short version...
The boys had a hard time adjusting to being in the same room, but are doing fine now. Brenan is 3 1/2 and is 41 inches tall and weighs 38 pounds. Connor is 10 months old and is 29.5 inches long and weighs 28 pounds. He wears a size 24 mo or 2T!! He is trying his hardest to learn to walk. He loves to pull himself up on furniture and people, anything he can get ahold of. They are both having a lot of fun playing with and 'helping' Grandpa. Brenans best friend (other than his dad) is his cousin John. He calls him Porky and gets very excited when he comes to play, even though he is 20 years older!
Brenan has seen a doctor and we have to take him to Salt Lake to finish the testing for Asperger's syndrome. That is in the same family as autism. I am really not happy about the stigma or the label, but if it will help him learn to deal with life and people, it will be best for everyone involved. I am hoping they can also help me learn to deal better with the tantrums and figure out a better way to communicate and get him to do the things he needs to do. If he does have it, I am sure it is a very slight case but they want to make sure.
Other than that, we are all doing well and I will post some pictures so you can all see how much my boys have grown.

Hey love! Sorry for the delay...my internet has been down the whole weekend. Thanks again for coming to see me last Saturday. That was the best surprise! YAY for the update! I'm glad that things are going relatively smoothly right now. I didn't know that Brennan might have Asperger's. I have a friend who's child has that and Brennan seems so different from him. So social and loving and fun.
I hope to see you again soon! I love you!
Wow Karri, It has been a long time, but I check regularly, lol. Connor is so cute! That oreo is hilarious. I didn't know that was going on with Brennan. I hope all goes well!
Have you gone to Salt Lake yet? I have two nephews with Aspergers; one is on the extremely shy side of things while his brother is on the extremely in your face, no personal boundaries end. There are so many different degrees of it--but there are programs and stuff that can help you communicate and can help him, too. Good luck--let me know how it turns out! Brenan is such a sweet boy!
